IPAN 2024 National Conference, 4-6 October, Perth

When

5 October 2024 – 6 October 2024
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Sleep walking into war
Opposing AUKUS, nuclear submarines and nuclear waste
Campaigning for a just, peaceful and sustainable world
This conference is being held as the threat of a world war looms whether the spark comes from Europe, the Middle East or in the Western Pacific.
Australia is being armed on behalf of the US and UK to be a base to wage war on China. We need a very strong public voice to turn this ship around.  The conference allows for listening, learning and acting to build that movement.
The excellent speakers for the Friday night public meeting or the conference include:
Dr Carmen Lawrence AO, Former Premier of WA
Senator Fatima Payman
Senator Jordon Steele-John

Prof Lisa Natividad, Guam University

Prof Kanishka Jayasuriya, Murdoch University
Researcher Michelle Fahey
Em Prof Ian Lowe,
  and many more….
Traveling from afar is difficult for people not in WA … so we also encourage people to join online
