SUMMARY:Human Security: Trust in Home\, Health\, Food and Future
DESCRIPTION:Human security is about meeting the needs of people\, today and
  tomorrow\, and their communities\, in a sustainable way. For many Austral
 ians\, the immediate day-to-day concerns of affordable housing\, health ca
 re and education and job security dominate but increasingly people are con
 cerned about the future well-being for the generations to come. And for th
 e First Peoples of Australia\, it's about closing the gap and getting a 'f
 air go'.\n\nThis webinar will discuss the importance of human security in 
 Australia and how we can renew our communities for the wellbeing of all. T
 he UN Pact for the Future adopted at the United Nations on 21 September 20
 24 recognised “We are at a time of profound global transformation. We ar
 e confronted by rising catastrophic and existential risks\, many caused by
  the choices we make.” Yet the Pact also saw this as ‘a moment of hope
  and opportunity.’ The nations of the world expressed the view that “t
 here is a path to a brighter future for all of humanity\, including those 
 living in poverty and vulnerable situations.\n\nJoin us to discuss what we
